Press Release   Press Release   GlacialTech Announces Four Novel Series of Adaptable LED Drivers -GP-LS100P(A) and GP-LS150P(A) with CV and CC Regulation Modes-   5 th October , 2010 , Taipei, Taiwan – GlacialTech Inc. , an eco-friendly solution provider of cost-effective cooling, power, LED products, etc. for industrial or commercial applications, is going to launch four new series of convertible LED Drivers: GP-LS100P (A) and GP-LS150P (A) , branded with the trademark of GlacialPower and doubling as industrial power supplies for industrial equipments. All the models in the GP-LS100P (A) and GP-LS150P (A) series can be optionally operated in either Constant Voltage (CV) regulation mode or Constant Current (CC) regulation mode for LED drivers or industrial power supplies. In the CV regulation mode: as long as the output current Io remains below a maximum current Io_max , the output voltage Vo is constant at a maximum voltage Vo_max as well as Io is variable between 0 and Io_max . In the CC regulation mode: once Io reaches to Io_max , Io is constant at Io_max as well as Vo is variable between Vo_max and a minimum voltage Vo_min . It is the integration of CV and CC regulation modes that enables GP-LS100P (A) and GP-LS150P (A) to kill two birds with one stone. When it comes to LED drivers, the non-dimmable GP-LS100P / GP-LS150P and timer-dimmable GP-LS100PA / GP-LS150PA series are available, wherein the suffix “A” distinguishes between non-dimmable and timer-dimmable series. Taking on an intelligent microcontroller to carry out a specific timer-dimming, GP-LS100PA and GP-LS150PA have their individual output current fixed at 100% during the first 7 hours and then cut it down to 50% for further power-saving. The LS100P (A) and LS150P (A) s eries are specifically designed to work in conjunction with h igh b rightness LED p roducts such as street lights, high-bay lights, spotlights, etc. as well as regulate the output voltage and current in the most efficient way. Especially attention-getting is the innovative technology of microcontroller-based timer-dimming f or further p ower s aving that goes with the LS100P A and LS150P A series .
